Do you make your own salad dressings? I have been having fun experiementing with flavors lately and this is trending as my favorite right now.

Store bought salad dressings are full of crap. Making your own dressing is not only easy but also very cost-effective.

I use this dressing on green salads, potatoes, and as a dip for raw veggies.

The measurements are only a guideline. If you do not want it as sweet, back off on the maple syrup. If you want it tangier add some apple cider vinegar. You do You.

Maple Dijon Dressing

This stuff is damn delicious. A little goes a long way so do not get caught up on the calories of the maple syrup :-)

Equipment

  • 1 blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard make sure it is gluten free
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions
 

  • Put all your ingredients in a high speed blender and blend for 2-3 minutes.
  • Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. Make sure you shake the jar each time before you use it.
