As promised here are Mike’s Likes and Dislikes about living in Portugal. If you watched my video you will see that we have a lot of similarities in our video content. The good news is that we both LOVE living here and are very thankful for each day we spend in this country. We hope you enjoyed viewing these videos. Please reach out if you ever want to know more about living in Portugal or moving out of the country.

Good to see you and hear your thoughts. We miss you both
Mike said to say hi to you both. Miss you both gobs
Hi Linda, I am sorry I thought I responded to this earlier. We miss you both lots. We love seeing your faces pop up on our TV photo reel. Hugs
Good to see you both and loved hearing your perspective on the likes/dislikes of your living in Portugal. Honestly, you’re both “entertaining” …your two videos were like sitting with you at happy hour! I get the challenges of a “slower pace” when needing service repairs, etc., but I also get the value of “a slower pace for living!” We Americans need to learn and do that better!! I also will say the one thing I dislike is our “time difference” …so many times I just want to chat with you when it’s your bedtime!!
BTW …since you mention how easy it is to travel from your location in Portugal …any chance your calendar is open to join us in Nice, France? We’re taking a SeaDream Yacht Cruise Oct 5th thru the 12th, (and we’ll be in Nice from Oct 2nd until departure on the 5th just in case you’re not up for another cruise just yet). However, SeaDream is a yacht of 112 passengers, and the cuisine caters to plant based/vegan, gluten free, and many organic options. Here is the link just in case you want to take a look:

P.S. If this time frame doesn’t work for you, we’ll look for another opportunity somewhere!! :)
Hey Deb, I totally agree with your comments. Learning to adapt to a new country takes patience but the benefits have proven to be very worth the trying patience we must exercise. Man oh man you have no idea how much we would LOVE to join you on the cruise. Like REALLY REALLY REALLY but we need to stay put for a bit because of our visa requirements. PLEASE lets schedule something in 2025.
